Yilulok-Nai is probably the most popular ancient Chamori game ever played by the Taotao Tåno'. It is an ancient Chamori Sacred Dance of Fertility and Pairing. It is usually played out in the evenings around a bonfire near the beach. The beating of sticks, rocks and wooden drums, the sounds of the Sacred Kulo' plus the songs and chants would permeate the night air. The crackling of the burning fire and the chirping of the Koko birds would also captivate the shoreline. The Famalåo'an and the Lalåhi would take center stage to show-off their chanting and dancing prowess. The popular cultural event has been passed down from generation to generation for nearly 5,000 years. No wonder the Spanish Missionaries banned such events, calling them 'orgies'.

Rules of Play
The object of the game is to show-off the dancing styles and techniques of the men and women of the island. It serves as a means of attracting, selecting & pairing mates....through the art of dance. Call it a Mating Game & Natural Selection or the old fashion eHarmony program.  As the night wears on, more and more couples would disappear into the shadows for intense lovemaking and sexual interlude.
